Breaded, roast chicken breast

Breaded Roast ChickenIt ain’t fancy, but it’s good. This is one of those go to staple dishes that is super easy to make and tastes so good. You can even prep it in advance and just take it out of the fridge, pop it in the oven and steam up some veggies and some rice or mash while it’s baking. Great for a relatively fast meal. Southern Baked Chicken, 11 herbs and spices

Southern Baked Chicken, 11 herbs and spicesThis southern baked chicken recipe was found in a book at my University book store and have been making it ever since. It’s a healthier option to deep frying as it’s baked, but tastes just as good. I tend to melt 1/8 cup butter in the baking sheet before I place the prepared chicken in it as opposed to the cooking spray. I guess I’m a little old fashioned that way. Continue reading
